From the moment you enter The Hearing Lounge, you will be made to feel welcome. Our vision was to create an area where you can relax whilst you wait for your appointment in comfortable surroundings, much like your own lounge, so there are no plastic leaflet displays, bright lights or white walls. Our clinical room, contains all of the latest technology and equipment.
Our aim is to get you back to the place you want to be, whether that is hearing friends at the golf club, listening to music at a concert, with family in a noisy restaurant, at the book club reading your favourite novel or learning a new topic at U3A.
We understand that the place you want to be is where you are at your best and can be yourself. We aim to offer the best solutions to get you there, not necessarily with hearing aids, but by making sure the brain gets the best hearing signal it can.
We look for the best solution, whether this be through brain training apps, hearing technology, providing hearing protection, tinnitus counselling, wax removal or communication tactics. We will give you honest, professional advice.
If we do need to recommend hearing aids or technology, we will work with you and listen to your needs to get the right style and product features.
Rebecca, our expert clinician has diverse experience across the NHS, private sector (both independent and for a large chain) and has also worked for one of the hearing aid manufacturers. Rebecca is BSc qualified, Health Care and Professionals Council (HCPC) registered and fully insured.
As an independent we are not tied to one manufacturer and work with all suppliers. We believe what we offer should be evidence based and combine clinical practice with the latest research to offer the best outcomes.
